You'd assume that each of these special shiny versions would have a completely different color or something that would leave marks, but that's not the case with all Pokemon. Now let's take a look at the worst Shiny Pokémon out there and rank them.

20 bliss
A common design decision with some shiny shapes is to make the Pokémon's color more or less vibrant. This is the case with Blissey and is annoying considering his previous form, named Chansey, has a more drastic change in appearance by comparison.
Aside from that, we also see the change from one shade of pink to another when we look at Blissey's base form called Happiney.
If they really wanted to keep the primary pink tones of the design, they could have changed the accent white parts to add some dynamism to Blissey's glossy form. Instead, they chose to create one of the worst Shiny Pokemon ever.
19 Munchlax
This post could honestly apply to Munchlax or its final form Snorlax as both suffer from the same problem when seeing the shiny versions of both. Of course, these chubby, sweet souls have black fur accented with beige spots in several places. If you happen to come across a shiny Munchlax, you may become confused and assume that your eyes or the lighting in your location are playing tricks on you.
The black coat it's known for is instead a rich navy blue that, due to the compression, feels more like an inferior black found in an internet video. As with all the other shiny forms on this list, the variation is so subtle that there is no reason to even strive for the shiny form of this evolutionary lineage.
18 Galarische Farfetch'd
When it was revealed that Galarian Farfetch'd and its new evolution, Sirfetch'd, were part of Pokemon Sword & Shield, fans were excited that one of the few neglected Pokemon from the original 151 was finally getting some attention . Beggars can't be pickers, but it was a bit of a disappointment that the glossy version of Galarian Farfetch'd was underwhelming to say the least.
His feathers are just a darker brown, which makes him look scary, but that in itself is pretty subjective, to be honest. Shiny Sirfetch'd, on the other hand, is an iridescent golden shade of yellow and uses its color variant.
17 Alola-Vulpix
You know a shiny form is bad when someone can look at it and not be sure if it's the normal version of a Pokemon or not. Asking these questions takes the fun out of trying to get the rarer colors. Sure, there's still the sparkly entrance animation, but when Alolan Vulpix and his shiny form are barely distinguishable, it feels like a buzzkill for something that's supposed to feel different.

Alolan Ninetales takes several cues from the purple changes to the white coat, but it's still not enough to make fans of the evolution line clamor for it in hopes of getting their hands on the glossy variant of a regional variant.
16 Flabebe
Flabebe is not only one of the smallest Pokémon in existence, but it also has one of the smallest changes to its normal and shiny variant forms. In context, it's a nice detail, but that's probably not why the glossy form is so bland. The only real difference is that the lower half of its tiny body is charcoal gray instead of light green.
The only positive feature of a shiny flabebe is that it can develop into a shiny flower, which is a satisfying and rewarding shine to try to maintain. That said, it's not literally the worst Shiny Pokemon, but it's bad enough to be on the list.
15 Feeling
Fortunately, Scyther is one of the coolest Pokemon out there, and while its shiny form is almost identical to its normal, more common color, it's not too disappointing.

The lucky trainer will most likely feel a bit depressed about catching a Shiny Phanpy since it looks like a regular Phanpy, but there is hope. The shiny version of Phanpy's evolution, Donphan, has a noticeable color shift and is the bright spot on the horizon.
If you're one of those who prefer Phanpy over Donphan and just give the little elephant an Everstone, maybe don't waste so much time and effort looking for a shiny variant, unless you like glitter and stars.
13 Beartisch
MostIce-type PokémonUsually these are white or lighter shades of blue as these colors aid in writing. When it comes to sleek shapes, you'd think these design principles would have to be thrown overboard, but that's not the case with Bearctic.
Although the blue head of his base form, called Cubchoo, turns pink in his glossy form, Bearctic is left with the same white fur, now randomly injected with the tiniest amount of blue tint, making him look almost like his normal fur. to color.

The introduction of these improvements was supposed to add another layer of cute Pokémon that trainers would fall in love with. It seems that is where the idea started and ended, as most of these animals, including Elekid, are identical to their shiny versions. A creature's poor little socket also evolves into a slightly more orange Electabuzz. There is not much to look forward to.
9 Herdier
Herdier is the center of development of the early Generation 5 franchiseDog Pokemonand in design it most resembles a real dog.
Both the basic form on the evolution line and the final form show distinct color differences compared to their glossy form, but Herdier seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick. As it develops into a glossy stoutland, the top black coat fades to a dark forest green. It's a real shame that Herdier is stuck with the brown undercoat and black fur.

Pikachu lands on this list of the worst shinys, and there are many reasons why. As with most of the other Shiny Pokemon on this list, the Shiny form is just a slightly different color than what you would normally see. It just has a slightly darker yellow fur, but the color is generally the same.
For a character as popular and iconic as Pikachu, it's a shame he didn't get a more surprisingly shiny variant. And if you plan to evolve your Shiny Pikachu, be prepared to be disappointed by the design of the Shiny Raichu.
5 Dragonite
Dragonite is a disappointment in many ways. Many fans agree that the drastic switch from Dragonair to Dragonite is troubling, and many have come up with redesigns to address this issue. Sometimes good shiny form can solve a Pokemon's problems, but other times it can just make things worse.
Dragonite is stuck with a combination of matte green and deep purple that would really suit a Pokemon like Crobat better. We could have had a hot pink to match the shiny forms of Dratini and Dragonair, or even a blue Dragonite to match their non-shiny forms, but such wishes cannot always come true.
4 Lucario
It's with these next five Pokemon that the real disappointment begins, because as frustrating as it is to have a shiny Pokemon that looks completely identical to its non-shiny form, it can really be compared to a palette that is "thorny " in the eye " screams? The popular fan favorite Lucario usually has a sleek blue and black design adorned with subtle pale yellow fur. However, the glossy form is by no means subtle.
The shiny Lucario wears a neonGelband black combination that looks like a traffic sign or a bumble bee. The light blue color of his middle fur doesn't do him any favors either, as it clashes strongly with the brightness of the yellow. Shiny Lucario could have been so cool, so it's a real shame we got it.
3 Groudon
Groudon is an impressive monsterlegendary pokemonwith the ability to expand continents and create countries of his own design. Such a creature should have a really fantastic shining form, but unfortunately it is not really the case. Groudon is instead stuck with a strange color that can't decide if it should be yellow or green.
A good choice for Groudon could have been a dark brown, light brown, or even gray color to mimic earth, desert, or earth metals. Kyogre definitely got the better deal since at least some of the fish in the sea have magenta and pink colors.
2 ferrodoorn
Ferrothorn's original color palette makes sense: Green for the grass type, silver for the steel type. A possible blank shape that would still communicate type could be an inverted palette or even darker green tendrils and a black body.
Game Freak went for... ketchup and mustard, making Ferrothorn look like a pungent snack. The yellow tint looks like an NES console that has faded with age, and the red around the eyes is particularly disturbing, reminiscent of someone who is bleeding or has just wiped their eyes.
1 Bruxian
There are wonders and mysteries lurking in the planet's oceans that humans haven't even begun to discover yet, but we've had the pleasure of seeing plenty of vibrant and colorful coral reef fish. Bruxish is based on the humuhumu nukunuku apua'a (or reef triggerfish), the state fish of Hawaii.
Bruxish's original design is unique to say the least, but the lighter pastel colors worked well to mimic coral reef fish you might see while snorkeling. The contrasting neon colors of its shiny form? They make Bruxish look less like a coral reef and more like a clown... or a really bad piece of cheese.
