How to Hack Wordle Game and Why You Shouldn't Use Droidwin (2023)

Instead, I usually prefer to get my hands on the games that provide a sense of calm and safety after a hectic day at work. To get straight to the point: Casual Offline and the one with no time limit met all my requirements. So Nanogram, WordScape and 2048 have always been my first choices. And you could now add Wordle to that list too. I just did some SEO research and this keyword encapsulated the entire data set.

What exactly is Wordle?

Wordle is a word game you may already know, but its popularity is at its core – it's completely free of all gimmicks. There are no popups, ads, emails to subscribe to, spending money to complete a level, unskippable ads - this game is free of all the unnecessary stuff. Well, you don't even need to install any app, just go to the website and the game will start in a second.

As for the rules, you have to guess a five letter word and you get six tries for it. There are no clues, but that very fact makes the game even more exciting to push it over cliffs. So the first guess is completely random and you enter a five letter word [See TIP 1]. If any of the alphabets match it in the answer, it will be highlighted in yellow, and if that alphabet's position also matches, it will be highlighted in green. On the other hand, the letters that are not in the answer are dimmed both on the board and on the keyboard. Let us understand with an example.

The word of the day, January 12, 2022, was FAVOR. So I started with RIGHT. Only the alphabet R matched the actual answer, but because the placement was wrong, it was marked with the gold color. The remaining four alphabets, IGHT, which were not part of the answer, were dimmed. Then my next guess was POLAR and that O and A were gold and R was green. So one thing was clear, the answer had the alphabet R at the end and also the letters O and A somewhere in between [See TIP 2]. My next guess was MAYOR which got me closer to the answer and finally I was able to get the answer right on the fourth try, GRACE!

Hacking the World Game: what's it all about?

Once you complete the game, you will have the option to share the results through various social media channels. And this competitive nature of being first in line made users complete this daily challenge and share it at the earliest. Oh, I almost forgot that you can play one game per day and the timer refreshes every 24 hours (see TIP 3).

So a new game is generated at night at 00:00 and within a few minutes. You would see Twitter flooded with users who have the right to complete the game in no time. This is why many users have contacted me asking if there is a practical way to hack Wordle so they don't get caught in the FOMO cycle. But do you really need to get your hands dirty? Short answer: no. Long answer: still no!

Why You Shouldn't Hack Wordle

Of course, that would completely ruin the game experience, and the game's only theme would be ruined as well. But the main reason why you should not hack Wordle Game is that you can get the answer to every day riddle. In this way, you not only spoil today's challenge, but also every next day in the near future. But how is that possible? Well, the developer has uploaded the answers for each day in a JavaScript file that you can easily access by digging into the game's backend. And once you do, all the answers are right in front of you!

Is the developer aware of this JavaScript hack?

Definitely yes. But he (Josh Wardle) hasn't done anything yet because he only made this game to play with his partner and stop the boredom. Even he didn't know that this game would suddenly become such a viral sensation (from 90 players per day in November 2021 to 3,00,000 today!). But given this explosion in popularity, he could now tweak the game by adding some new features and would surely close this Java scripting hole as well. Until then, feel free to take a look at the answer sheet!

I don't need any hacks, but some wordle tips would be great

Well, for the few good souls (I'm no longer one of them) who still want to keep a safe distance from Wordle game hacks, you'll be happy to know that there are a few clever tricks that will bring you a lot of joy prepare miles to complete this game at the earliest. Here are some of the notable ones.

TIP 1: "Adieu" and "Pens" are the hacks of the world!

Well, starting with any 5-letter word is an option, but not the most practical. It is better to start with a word with the most vowels. For example, you can start with the word ADIEU. Another approach is to write a word that contains many common letters but none of which are repeated, such as PENS and KOLEN. That said, SIREN, ABUSE and OCTAL could also prove to be worthy contenders.

TIP 2: Remove words via online dictionary

If you're stuck in the middle but have at least a few alphabets, you can get help from an online dictionary to shorten the words that aren't part of the answer. For example, I explained earlier that when I guessed the word FAVOR, I ended up with the word POLAR. So I learned that the answer had the alphabet R at the end (the green marker explained earlier) and also the letters O and A somewhere in between (the gold marker).

In such cases, you can look in an online dictionary (eg Word Hippo) and search for "five letter words that contain OAR". This eliminates most of the words, leaving you with a handful of words to choose from. So pick one from the list and enter it into the game, but be careful not to exhaust your six chances!

TIP 3: Get mundane lives for free

As explained above, you have six chances to guess a word, exhaust them, and you're done for the day. Well, it's in the rule book. But let's take the liberty of breaking new ground and doing a few extra tries for yourself, shall we? So all you have to do is open a new incognito mode in your browser with the Ctrl + Shift + N keyboard shortcut and then you can start over.

It works on both mobile and PC. A big advantage of this mod is that you already know six different methods, which you don't need to do while trying out the permutations and combinations! Note to Techies: Apart from the incognito mode hack, you can also use a VPN to change the server region and restart the game with six new lives and yes, a new proxy IP address too!

How to hack Wordle with Javascript
