However, not all Lusterstones are equally valuable, as many end up bizarrely resembling their original form in color. Without the sparkling effect when they emerge from their Poké Balls, many Shiny Pokémon are not recognizably unique, and 11 of them are particularly disappointing.

11 bliss
Chansey will be known to many competitive players thanks to his remarkable defense with the Eviolite item, and his shiny form is very noticeable. Instead of his usual soft pink, the glossy chansey takes on a much more fun shade of green, making him look more like a rotten egg than a cute janitor.
Once it evolves into Blissey, the fun color is replaced with a slightly lighter shade of its normal white and pink. Since Chansey looks so unique and fun in her glossy form, it's a shame that Blissey is also visually so far behind.
10 Gengar
Shiny Gengars have always been an oddity in the Pokémon series. His Mega Evolution and Gigantamax form are both incredibly unique, turning brilliant white and looking more like a cartoon ghost than his typical creepy self.
RELATED:Pokemon: The Best Shiny White Pokemon
Aside from these alternate forms, the original glossy Gengar is just a lighter shade of purple with eyes that are just as pink. You'll definitely notice its rarity when transitioning to its many alternate versions, but Shiny Gengars are shockingly simple on their own.
9 Togekuss
Togekiss and Togetic are both subtle and shiny, but they're not as boring or unexciting as the other members of this list. With just an incredibly small touch of red added to his skin tone, the red and blue club markings have switched colors, resulting in a color shift that's at least more interesting than most.
Dogepi stands out much more as a glossy egg with a pink body in its reverse color egg. The fact that its glossy form evolves to resemble its egg more than the creature inside is no doubt odd for this evolutionary lineage.
8 zag
Exclusive versions are often excellent like Shinys. Some often get a color that makes them extra unique, but many, like Zangoose and Seviper, switch up the palettes a bit to resemble the version of the game they're not available in, making them much more iconic and reminiscent of their homes . territory.
Sawk and Throh from Pokémon Black & White both lack the trait, but Sawk is particularly muted, as his rich blue changes to a muted purple while his karate uniform remains the same. At least Throh gets a bolder shade of orange, but both Pokémon need a new outfit to make their shiny forms stand out.
7 Duraludon
Dragon types in Pokémon have gone through many exciting and bizarre color changes, such as the deep green Dragonite and the glamorous purple Kingdra. Duraludon is one of the newest members of this club in Pokémon Sword & Shield, so it would have been nice for collectors to see this living skyscraper with a spectacular rare color.
RELATED:Pokemon: The 10 Best Shiny Dragon Species, Ranked
Unfortunately, a shiny Duraludon comes pretty close to its original model, with a slightly bluer color palette that darkens it just a tiny bit. It can easily be mistaken for a normal in dimly lit environments, resulting in one of the worst new shiny forms in the game.
6 Alex
Elekid made his big comeback in the eighth generation only with Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl,However, similar to Blissey and Gengar, it's incredibly easy to mistake a shiny for its original form. But instead of getting paler, Elekid has a slightly more vibrant body, making it more like what you'd expect from a non-shiny Electric-type Pokémon.
Its later forms, Electabuzz and Electivire, are much less boring. Their bodies turn a darker red reminiscent of their Fire counterparts in the Magmar family, making the Elekids that much more memorable before they evolve.
5 Garchomp
Garchomp is one of the classic underwhelming chandeliers because it has a lot of bright colors in its original form, while the glossy alternative is just a little paler. While his appearance is far from boring or colorful in either form, it is a setback for such an intimidating and competitive fighter.
However, what makes Garchomp particularly disappointing is the fact that its shiny form can be obtained as a gift after defeating Benga in Pokemon Black 2. Pokemon White 2 players will instead get a shiny Dratini whose evolution is much more colorful and exciting. by Garchomp. Shiny Garchomp is boring on its own, but this comparison makes it seem even worse.
4 Glaceon
Eeveelutions are some of the most exciting shinys you can find, and finding a Shiny Eevee means a trainer has tons of options for a unique teammate. The neon green Espeon and Jolteon may not be the prettiest, but they are undoubtedly unique and easily recognizable as rares.
RELATED:Pokemon: every evolution of Shiny Eevee, ranking
Glaceon, the evolution of the Ice-type Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and its recent remakes, isn't one of the exciting options, as it's just a lighter blue that looks completely identical in the favored snowy weather. With so many vibrant alternatives, a blank Glaceon is an unfortunate waste of potential.
3 Ark
Glaceon is far from the only disappointing Eeveelution, as a shiny Leafeon is just as bland as its Sinnoh sibling. However, the color change is the opposite of Glaceons, where the colors become slightly sharper, although the color palette remains extremely consistent.
Fortunately, Leafeon thrives in sunlight thanks to its leaf protection and chlorophyll abilities, meaning that the brighter lighting makes it easier to distinguish from a non-glaring Leafeon in battle. However, there are still much better options for your Shiny Eevee than making it a Grass type.
2 Cast form
At first glance, Castform is not an uncommon gloss. It loses its white palette for a purple body and yellow mask, making it significantly more unique. However, the weather changes were no different than before in a blank form and remained completely identical to the normal forms.
However, players have recently seen it in Pokemon Homethat Castform's transformations will be improved and that there will be shiny forms in the Pokedex that did not appear in previous games. However, until they can be seen in action, its unchanged weather forms make it one of the most worthless Shinys in the Pokémon series.
1 Komala
The latter is so wild that it spawned its own fan theory. Most Pokémon, let's say almost all, change their shiny form in one way or another. Our list brought a lot of nonsense in this regard, where the changes were insignificant. But Komala? Komala does not change at all. His drum does that instead.
It is true. The only difference between a shiny Komala and a regular one is the drum. In a rush to excuse this oddity, some Pokémon fans have come to insist that this sleepy friend isn't a sleepy friend after all—he's actually the family tree.
